See how much stock came in and went out over any date range, filtered by item and category, and export it to Excel
The In / Out Report answers the question every nursery owner asks at month end: how much stock came in, how much went out, and what is left? It reads the same stock ledger that powers your live stock balance, so the report can never disagree with what the Stock screen shows.
Open Stock from the sidebar. The screen has two tabs:
The report opens on the current month, so you always land on useful numbers without touching a filter.
Everything that came in during the range
Purchases, purchase returns, stock-in corrections
Everything that left during the range
Sowing, dispatches, direct sales, consumption
Inward minus outward
Positive = stock grew, negative = stock shrank
How many stock items had any movement
Across the whole range, not just this page
The tiles always total the entire filtered range — they are not recalculated from the rows visible on the current page.
Opening + Net always equals Closing — a quick self-check when you reconcile with a physical count.
Items with no movement in the range are hidden. The report is about what moved; your full on-hand list lives in the Stock Items tab.
Rows are ordered by how much moved, biggest mover first, so the items worth looking at are always at the top.
The Export CSV button downloads exactly what you are looking at — the same date range, category and item search, with no page limit. The file contains one row per item plus a TOTAL row, and opens cleanly in Excel or Google Sheets (quantities are plain numbers you can SUM; Hindi item names and the ₹ symbol render correctly).
File name: stock-movement-YYYY-MM-DD-to-YYYY-MM-DD.csv
Every stock movement in Hortiprise is written to one ledger as it happens. The report simply totals that ledger:
So the report needs no separate data entry: keep recording purchases, sowing and dispatches as usual and the report stays correct.
The report follows the same rules as the rest of the Stock screen: it is part of the Finance module, so it is available on plans that include finance features and is shared across your team's data. Viewing and exporting are read-only — nothing you do here changes a stock balance.
