The Self-Production Report counts the seeds you sowed, how many came up, how many went out to customers and how many are still standing — with plants you bought in ready-made kept on their own tab.
Sold / Dispatched sits beside these columns in the app. Totals come from the same data as the rows.
Per plant and variety — and per unit if you want it that way. Each column and each tile carries a ⓘ that says exactly what it counts.
The seeds you put into trays. The actual seeds sown recorded on each batch is used; until that is entered, the planned quantity stands in.
The seedlings that actually came up, counted at the germination check. This is the stock you have to sell from those batches.
Plants that have physically left the nursery — sent out against customer orders, plus direct counter sales taken from those batches.
Plants still standing in the nursery: Germinated minus Sold / Dispatched. It never shows less than zero.
Germinated out of Sown, shown on every row. A low figure points to a seed or nursery-condition problem worth checking — it is your data, not a score we invent.
Two tabs, two column sets, two sets of totals. Bought-in plants can never quietly inflate your in-house production figures.
Batches you sowed in the nursery. Shows Sown, Germinated, Sold / Dispatched, Balance and a germination percentage.
Ready plants bought from vendors. Nothing was sown, so the Sown column is dropped rather than zeroed, and Germinated is labelled Received.
Filters sit in the table header, and the totals row always matches whatever is on screen.
Matches plant, variety, batch number and unit name.
Narrow to one nursery unit, or keep all units together.
Compare the same crop season by season.
Plant, variety & unit — or plant & variety with units rolled together.
It sits in the Production menu beside Sowing Batches, Germination Tracking and Plant Summary — not in a separate reports corner.
Every figure is derived from sowing batches, germination readings, dispatches and sales you already enter — the same live stock the Plant Summary reads.
